TxtDropper is built on a strict "No Server Storage" architecture. We do not require registration, we do not have a database, and we do not store any of the text, code, or links you transfer. All data transfers occur strictly device-to-device (Peer-to-Peer) using WebRTC technology.
When you click "Generate sharing code", our signaling server merely facilitates the handshake between your device and the receiving device. Once connected, an encrypted tunnel is formed directly between the two browsers. The text never passes through our servers. When you close the browser tab, the data is completely destroyed.
To keep TxtDropper 100% free with no signup required, we display advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
We take your security seriously despite being a free tool. TxtDropper implements client-side rate limiting to prevent automated brute-force attempts on active room codes. Additionally, a randomized collision-resistant algorithm ensures your 6-character room code remains unique to your session.
